Eric Giandelone has over 15 years of experience bringing marketplace, consumer and competitive insights to Fortune 100 companies in the food and beverage, foodservice and financial services industries. Eric’s expertise in conducting creative and directive research, particularly in ill-defined markets that lack clear data, combined with a storytelling ability that turns data into insights and insights into strategy has allowed clients to see a clearly marked path forward to proven business value.
Before launching High Yield Insights with co-founder Mike Luce, Eric led voice of customer research for a major financial services firm, bringing customer wants and needs to the boardroom and identifying customer experience improvements that led to greater revenue growth.
Previously, Eric served as the Director of Foodservice Research and Senior Consultant at Mintel, a market research firm based in Chicago, where he led research initiatives for foodservice clients, identified product and market opportunities for clients, and oversaw innovation and renovation efforts for food and beverage brands.
Eric earned his MBA from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business, a master’s in writing from DePaul University and a bachelor’s degree from DePaul University.

Mike Luce has nearly 20 years experience developing market insights for some of the world's leading consumer brands, including Procter & Gamble, PepsiCo and General Mills, and retailers, such as Wal-Mart and Kroger.
Leveraging his deep expertise in consumer attitudes and shopper behavior, pricing and promotions, and advanced analytics, Mike has developed and implemented solutions for clients in the design, marketing, distribution, and retailing of fast-moving consumer goods.
Prior to co-founding High Yield Insights, Mike led multi-million dollar insights engagements with Fortune 100 consumer goods companies as the client-integrated leader of IRI's Strategic Analytics division, where he honed his expertise in advanced analytics, data mining, and machine learning applications for the industry. Earlier, Mike led the foodservice supply and distribution business development unit for Gladson, a leading provider of digital asset and product data management tools for sales, marketing, e-content, and supply chain needs.
Mike got his footing in market research entrepreneurship for Mintel, where he led the creation of the company's food & beverage emerging trends business unit. Mike was responsible for developing the division's research, product management, and marketing and sales. Mike began his career in the consumer insights industry as Director of Client Development/Services for Market Track, a global business intelligence solutions provider, where he was responsible for managing a global team of sales and support personnel.
Mike earned his MBA from the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business and a bachelor's degree at Loyola University of Chicago.
